Ask these questions before you order

1. Which parts move

   Ask which parts move on the exact model: the eyes, the mouth or more. Ask for a short video of that model moving, and describe the head in your listing from it.

2. How it is controlled

   Ask whether the movement runs by itself, by remote control or from a phone app. If there is an app, ask which phones and languages it supports.

3. Power and plug

   Ask whether the head runs on a battery or plugs in. Check the voltage and the plug type against your country. Ask how long it runs and how long it takes to charge.

4. Body fit and head weight

   Ask the head weight, the neck fitting and whether it needs a special body or neck. Confirm that the bodies you sell can carry it.

5. Noise

   Ask for a video with sound of the head moving. Your customers will hear the mechanism, so hear it yourself first.

6. Spare parts and repairs

   Ask which parts can wear out, whether spare parts are sold, and how repairs work after delivery. Get the warranty terms in writing.

7. Documents for electrical products

   Electrical products may need test reports or certificates in your market. Before you order, ask the factory which documents it can provide for the exact model.

8. Shipping a head with a battery

   Batteries have their own shipping rules. Ask your freight forwarder which documents they need, then ask the factory for them.

9. Sample, price and lead time

   Order one sample first and test it on your own body. Price, minimum quantity and lead time come in a written quotation.
